Day Fifteen and Sixteen
Day Fifteen
Renate my friend from Norway and I have been running together throughout the week so my Day 15 consisted of what I call “THE BACKYARD BURN” I created a circuit for us to do with only a small rectangular backyard, 2 lawn chairs, 1 15lb weight.
30 jumping jacks
3 rounds around the yard of lunges
30 jumping jacks
Squats with 15lbs.

Day Thirteen and Fourteen
So after another break from training I have started up again in the last 2 days.
Renate (my friend from Norway) agreed to come running with me in the mornings to help me stay on track with my training.
We did the 5km loop around the neighborhood.
Day Thirteen: 8:25am
Pressed snooze for 5mins
8:30am
Crawled out of bed and changed into light workout gear
8:50am
The suns rays were shining...
Day Twelve
So this past weekend I decided to go up to the chalet with the family.
I woke up somewhat early … ok maybe not early at all….to the warm smell of waffles…
and even though I did want to stay and eat my to my hearts content I went for my morning run instead.
I did a 4km all up hill and then decided to run up the BIG hill on which my chalet sits on…

Day Eleven
I am finally home after about a month being in Montreal.
I had fun….but at the same time its so nice being home…
It was such a nice day yesterday I would have gone for a run
outside but the world cup kept me on a treadmill.
It was super weird running on a treadmill after running outside
for you long. I honestly thought I was going to fall off the thing.
Got to do an awesome...

Day Ten
My run today felt faster then usual maybe because I couldn’t run for the last few days cause of weather and it just felt refreshing this morning…or maybe it is because I woke up this morning to the wonderful buzzing of the vuvuzela’s….nothing like a good swarm of wasps to get you out of bed in the morning.
Now I’m just waiting for the old ladies to finish up their...
Day Nine
Me graduating….riiiiiight…
So grad pictures are in…why oh why can’t i just get one good picture out of 6…
I grew up with a camera in my face and if half these photos I look like a goofball…or like I’m about to burst out laughing…(probably laughing because I’m actually graduating….what a weeeeeeird concept)

Day Seven
So to tell you the truth … if my dad didn’t bug me today about training I probably would have either procrastinated today or skipped it all together…
Thankfully I went and it was definitely worth it.
Took it easy today… was definitely having some breathing issues…
Did my regular run today and added in another extra circuit to it.
Ran by the Lebanese BBQ...
Back to the grind...
After a week of filming, eating too much, and drinking way too much I’m back to training.
The NLS National Lifesaving Championship was a great success for Team Alberta. My cousin Jonathan won 3 medals in relays and our team overall won the title yet again…of National Champs.

Ok so running today was a lot harder then usual.

Day Five
Rolled out of bed this morning with a serious case of the Mondays…
Need to force myself to train today…damn Mondays.
Weekend = sillyness with Alex toped off with an amazing homemade dinner lastnight. Maybe thats why my case of the Mondays is so much more serious then usual…hmmmm…
Running today with a breeze will be nice…at least its a chance to work off the food...

Day Four
Ok so I had to kick my ass into gear this morning.
It is the perfect temperature outside today for my run
and getting my head into the idea of running…took a bit of time today.
Luckily my “Rockstar” playlist saved me in the end.
SO I have already found out that I do NOT like biking into the wind…today I learned that running into the wind is not much better.

Day Three
I calculated … ok so maybe I didn’t calculate cause I’m the worst at math but Alex calculated the pool at the apartment and to swim the equivalent of .8k I would have to swim 26 or so laps in the pool.
The pool is of course closed on my swim training day but today I will be biking anways.

I have decided to set a fitness goal for my workouts
this being training for a triathalon, even though I will have to build up the courage to
actually enter in one, my goal for the next 6months is to train and be confident enough to actually register my lazyass into one.
