After a week of filming, eating too much, and drinking way too much I’m back to training.
The NLS National Lifesaving Championship was a great success for Team Alberta. My cousin Jonathan won 3 medals in relays and our team overall won the title yet again…of National Champs.
This is Jonathan my crazy cousin practicing his Line rope throw…haha and yes it says “Funky Trunx” on his speedo.
Friday’s practice was probably the only nice day we had….other then that it was overcast, cloudy, raining and at times hurricane winds and extreme storm watches.
Saturday we were out on the pool deck for about 15 hours
Sunday was another long day but this time only 12 hours
On Saturday for one of the events in the middle of the day the storm clouds moved away a bit and we got a tiny ray of sun just on the athletes on the blocks….I thought it looked super cool.
